Lately, whenever I game (most notable while playing Smite), I *usually* eventually get a random black screen flash, sometimes a total freeze that I have to ctrl, alt, del to get out of, or, the worst, the audio freaks out, buzzes loudly, and I have to restart my pc. A lot of games seem to work okay for the most part, though they can crash, with no recognizable pattern.
Specs:
Windows 10
i5 6600k @ 4.4hz
GTX 760 SC
MSI Gaming M5
HyperX Fury 16gb @ 2133
An old HDD (tested with SpinRite and CrystalDiskInfo)
Here are some things I've monitored/tried:
-Reinstalled Windows 10
- Memtest: no errors, got new RAM nevertheless, still no errors
-Temps: GPU doesn't go over 60, CPU hovers around 50-52
- Bad GPU: RMA'd my 760, just got a new one
- Underclocked gpu
- V sync on/off
- Made sure my monitor is 60hz
- set card to maximum performance in Nvidia control panel
-It's not dust, it's new
-My 740 worked fine with no errors
-Replaced my old PSU
There's no .dmp file.. I'm not sure what kind crash I'm getting or what it means, and my Google-fu isn't doing much for me.
Any help/advice would be appreciated
