Flickering on gtx760

Just got a GTX760 2gb SuperClocked. Went onto play league of legends and the screen kept flickering it was like interference or something, anyway when i turned my fps to 80, from uncapped it stopped flickering. My previous graphics card was working perfectly on the same settings. If anyone can help me it would be much appreciated.

Edit: i have installed all the recent drivers etc.

That is what is called screen tearing, where the FPS the card is making and the refresh rate of the screen conflict. Lock your fps at 60 and it should stop.

It does stop when i lock my fps at 80 i was just wondering if i can fix it?

You can fix it by using vsync. Its not a problem with your hardware or anything, just a common graphics glitch caused by differences in fps and refresh rate. Vsync was created to stop this by having the 2 match.

at that resolution using a 760 you were throwing out way too many fps for that screen, use vsync.

This one seems pretty decent. And the 760 was made to give decent performance at 1080p.

That benq uses a TN panel, the cheapest and produces the lowest quality picture quality.
