[SOLVED] Flickering problem.

Hello recently i built my friend a computer that he could use to play games watch movies etc. We bought a dvi to vga adapter in order to use the computer. The problem is that the monitor flickers and restarts while watching videos and at startup (3 times then stops). We dont know the reason of the problem and we have used the adapter to a differrent pc (it worked perfectly). Temps are good.

Gigabyte B450M DS3H
Ryzen 3 3200G
Vega 8
Kingston a400 240gb ssd
seagate barracuda 1tb
Corsair VS 550W PSU

We tried his computer to a television and there were no flickers. The temperatures are fine. 35 - 45 celsius. When the flickering thing occurs it just desplayes artifacts like old tvs and then it switches off and then on. With that said we think that the problem is coming from the Dvi port on his motherboard. The pc is 1 week old though which doesnt make sense unless if the motherboard was faulty.

its not a tv its a monitor and it has only vga.

test it with a monitor that don't need an adapter

it doesnt have any problems with an hdmi tv. Only with the monitor and the adapter
