Hi,
I have a problem. When i play Counter-Strike 2 online my screen is flickering. It looks like i'm pushed forward 5 meters when I walk in the game.
The funny thing is when i play i practice mode (Offline) the problem is not there.

What I've tried:

  • Tried different versions of the GPU driver.
  • Re-installed the game.
  • Optimized the BIOS
  • Latest Odessey G7 screen driver.

PC Specs:
Asus Rog Strix Z690-F Gaming WiFi
CPU: Intel i7
GPU: Asus TUF 3080
OS: Windows 11.

I have had the PC for 2 years without this problem.

Can someone help me out?

Thanks.

You forgot to mention the make and model of the PSU.

Tried different versions of the gpu driver.
Using DDU and the latest GPU driver from Nvidia's support site, installed under elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

PSU: Corsair RM1000X.

No, haven't used DDU. I will try. I have used the latest driver from Nvidia.

Hello again,

Now i have tested the HDMI port also. Same problem.

I have also made a Heaven benchmark test. All looked fine.

I think it is very strange i can play CS2 in practice mode and everything works perfect, but when i play the exact same game online the problem is there.

Also in the latest Battlefield - same problem.

Problem solved🙂

I connected a new LAN cable from the pc direct in to the fiberterminal. There is a 4 port hub in the fiberterminal.

This must mean that the TP link router I have plugged into the fiber terminal or the old LAN cables are broken.
