I have FS2004 running on Win XP Pro, with SP2. I cannot
print flight plans, nor the flight briefings included
with FS2004.

However, Learning Center articles will print.

Make sure that FS is in window mode and not full screen when you try
to print (ALT+ENTER), is it an HP printer?

Yes it is an HP printer.

I just upgraded to a Dell 8400 Dimension with flat screen
and all the kicked up video drivers.

I retried printing the flight plans on my old PC and they
work fine.

Taking your thought, I took the new version out of full
screen mode. No print. I reset the hardware to very low
display resolution, still no print.

Any other ideas?

Thanks, Don

I had this same problem using an HP printer too. Strangely
recently I removed some spy progs and presto I have
printing. Having upgraded to Netscape 7.2 yesterday I now
cannot print from FS2.
Until I find a solution I've put Wordpad in the lower left
toolbar and can load and printout the .PLN file for the
flight plan route from documents & settings/home/my
documents/flight sim files.

Have uninstalled Netscape 7.1 and 7.2 I now have printout!
It may be worth remembering that the flight plan appears
on the kneepad.

Now things are getting wierd. I just uninstalled MS
Office 2003 upgrade version, MS Office 97 (which allowed
the upgrade), and installed a standalone MS Office 2003
because I had great deal through our company (and was
having some other issues.)

Now when I go to print a flight plan, MS Word launches
and I can print! What an integration.....or is it
monopoly?
