Can't get BRAKE to release with the PERIOD(.) key!

from other posts:

Brakes won't release either via the keyboard or
SideWinder Force Feedback 2 Joystick.

Do you think DirectX 9.0b could be causing the problem?

Thanks.

ray,

from a past back on May 17th this year:

>Try this. At the splash screen click on "settings" and
>then select "sensitivities". and scroll to "brakes". Then
>increase the "null." That should fix the problem. Good
>Luck. Dave

but, there is no section for brakes, try moving all 'null ' sliders.(i
would say all the way to the left, but dave sounds like he wants them to the
right).
also under the 'assignment' section. be sure you have a ( . ) period for
brake release for keyboard and 'button 1' for your SW F 2 joystick.

if none of the above works or does work, please post a follow up .

goodluck!

Thanks for the information. The assignments were correct
and the change to the null settings had no effect.

What I finally did was disconnect another USB Interlink
Controller that I use to fly model airplanes on the
computer. Must have been some kind of conflict since
FS2004 works fine now.

Guess I will have to only have one controller plugged in
at a time; the USB Interlink Controller or the joystick.
Seems like a bit of a hassle.

Thanks again,

Ray

But, but perhaps your keys assignment file is damaged. Check with the FS
settings.
