Question Flight Sims CPU

Hi all

I'm looking to build or buy a PC strictly for all flight simulators X plane, P3D, FSX and FS2020. Whick cpu will be best to this type of PC. I do other gaming in console, and I do not stream. I might do multiplayer. Thank you

If I'm building I'll buy parts from all vendors. Bestbuy, Amazon.

My budget is $2500 to $3000.

Should I go AMD or Intel

Flight sims are the definition of NOT all round,look it up in a dictionary there will be pictures of FSX.

My understanding from those who play/use FSX is that it still prefers Intel's CPUs, with the highest possible frequencies.

FS2020 probably won't care much, given what it is, and I'm not sure if P3D is as picky as FSX, but if FSX is one of your main games then there is still an argument for the i9 9900k, with an overclock.

And it's not often I find myself saying that.

I play Fsx steam sometimes. lately I mostly play p3d V4 and trying to get to x plane while preparing for FS 2020. I'm still using an AMD fx series with a GTX 1050TI. It run the sims ok with a few issues like lagging at times.
