Flight simulator (P3D) Performance AMD-INTEL

Hello was looking at upgrading my pc in the next couple of days and looking at both i7-7700k and RYZEN 7 1800X, P3D is very cpu heavy and I use a lot of background programs when playing, Still looking for good performance when playing not to bothered about other games such as battlefield and csgo.i would like to know what cpu would be best for my needs.

For those reasons more cores is better.

P3d is still mainly only using one thread so the 7700k has plenty of cores for your background tasks and will run the simulator faster.
