FLight Stick

Since we are on the subject of controllers, I've decided to break down and get a joystick/flight stick. I've got a pretty good idea what I'm going to go with but I thought I'd throw this out there for anyone who might have a diamond in the rough. Price really isn't a problem but I don't need one of those things that looks like it was ripped out of an actual F-16 cockpit either. Thank You

CH makes the most realistic (and also the highest quality by far) flight sticks, but Thrustmaster makes one of the higher quality multi-function models.

This is really quickly ceasing to becoming a choice. Everyone everywhere that I know says hands down the CH. That sure makes things easier. Thank You

It really depends on how much you want to spend. At the higher end of the spectrum the Thrustmaster Warthog is easily the best or one of the best out there. I personally have it and love it. However I will say that unless you're a hard core Flight Sim fan than it is complete overkill due to the price, especially considering you still need to buy rudder peddles to go with it. CH makes good products and would be my second choice after the thrustmaster but even some of there offerings are pricey.

The Thrustmaster is an absolute thing of beauty but for someone like me it is overkill. I only recently broke down and decided to get a stick because people suggested to me I wouldn't be so bad at games like Wing Commander if I stopped playing them on a game pad. CH really seems like the way to go. Thanks for everyone's help.
