Hey there,

I recently paid a visit to Microcenter to look at cases.

I wanted to see the Air 540 in person. And while I really liked the case, it was bigger than I thought.

I then saw the Air 240 and immediately thought about how awesome it was. I love the compact size and that I could keep it on my desk without any obstruction.

This was one of the builds I was planning on housing: (I'm still on the fence with the SLI 970)

I won't be getting it now. It's likely I will be building the PC in April and by that time the 3 series will be out.

Anyway, Being that compact, with that GPU setup makes me nervous about the heat/airflow.

Would this be a bad move? What if I got the nVidia instead? Should I get the Air 540 instead?

I plan on playing 1440p, 40fps BARE minimum, highest settings I can get on current titles and any upcoming in the next 18 months (Arkham Knight, Battlefront)

Thanks all

In all honesty, I've only seen a few SLi builds in micro ATX cases. Additionally, almost all of them had water blocks on the CPU and GPU's. I think that you are going to struggle with temps in summer if you don't have AC :)
