Floppy Disk Drive isn't recognized in Windows 10

I have a Qosmio X75-A7180 Laptop (Windows 10) and an old "Made for Imation by Mitsumi" D353FUE USB floppy disk drive that I'd like to use to get at a bunch of data on floppy disks. Can anyone give me a direction to go in or a simple solution for getting the drive to work.
The fdd gets power and spins the disk but is not reflected as a drive location in windows.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Yes it does. whirs up like disk head moves over it like it's reading then nothing shows up in windows...

Have to go into Disk Management and see if it is shown in there? Maybe its not getting a drive letter
