I have this annoying problem when flying with Msoft flt sim 9.
I have a problem when I create a flight in flt sim 9 when using any aircraft
I select.
I select an aircraft, plan my journey in flight planner, then it is set to
go the disired runway.
When the textures load and the aircraft cockpit apprears, aircraft is on the
runway, the autopilot is on and settings such as alt, heading, etc are on
and the engines are at full power. fuel is not full, so when the flight
starts I am moving down the runway before I can do any flight checks. How
can I start a flight with full tanks and non of the autopilot switches on
like I used to be able to do. I saved a flight coming into land at brussels
and made that my default flight, since then this problem started, I have
removed the brussels landing as my defualt flight, but the problem still
occurs, any advice please..

Nadia,
It sounds as if you have not yet learned to be in charge of the sim 🙂
You are lettuing it be in charge of you. It is only a computer program.

If you go to the airport of your choice and taxi (or slew )to the spot you
wish to start from, then make everything you want to be how you like it,
engine off, weather how you wish, the cockpit you prefer and the switches,
compass, everything you want, either on or off; then save this flight, give
it a special name. When you want to fly again. Do not plan the flight first,
go to this saved flight first, then start your plan.

Mind you, it would be a good idea to make a few flights without any plan at
all to begin with. (To tell you the truth I have never, in six or seven
years ever made a flight plan!)

You may want to make this saved flight your default.

Cheers,

Quilly

Hi,

Just delete the default flight (default.FLT) file from your "Flight
Simulator Files" directory (in "My Documents").

The next time you boot up FS9, it will recreate the default default.FLT
file. (Cessna 172 in Seattle)

It only takes ONE PSYCHIATRIST to change the default flight in FS2004. . .
but first the default flight must want to change!!
