Question Fluctuating GPU Usage while only watching Twitch ?

Hey guys, my System:

i7 14700k
RTX 4070 MSI
32 GB RAM
AIO 280 mm
Win 11


So Im only watching a Video on Twitch and my GPU Usage is fluctuating from 0-70 all the time. Whats going on? Is this an indicator that my GPU is gonna die? I just bought it. Ive also attached a picture

right click on the CPU section and click on GPU so you can see it as a section. then attach a screenshot

Fluctuating between 0 - 70? What could that be? Faulty GPU?
And the GPU Section in the Task Manager doesnt show anything

Are the correct drivers installed properly? Symptoms suggest so. Make sure you're on the latest version of the drivers.

You could also clean install the GPU drivers using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller).

There's nothing wrong with the graphics that you show. Spikes are expected in this scenario, even high spikes. If you're not having any stuttering or other issue, everything its on right.

ok are you sure, because they fluctuating all the time when watching videos like on yt or twitch. but as i said between 0-70 GPU Usage while watching a video and going up and down seems weird, doesnt it?

Depends on the monitoring software you are using.
Your video card has several engines.
If the software you are using is reading the decode engine, then everything is normal.
GPU Z will tell you more about what is being used.

I'm using msi afterburner.
Actually after reinstalling the drivers with ddu the spiking has improved. Now it's around 30-50 gpu usage fluctuating when watching videos. I'm trying that program thanks
