Did you frob the gold rat on the headboard of the rat king's bed? That
opens up a small hole in the wall out just outside the bedroom. Also, if
you go out the rat king's bedroom and take a left, go the where the dead guy
is laying. That cavern has a secret treasure crypt in it...you just have to
frob a large mushroom to get it to open...
