Yeah I have noticed this as well. Your star striker and penalty taker will
score less from the spot in a season than any other player in your first
11.

does not just seem to be star strikers my mid has a pen rateing of 19 and
has missed 5 pens so far. over 50%

My star-striker takes all my pens.
Season 1 he took about 20 and scored on all !!
After almost 2 seasons with 3-4 diff. pen-takers we haven't missed one
yet...

Nope, playing in Norwegian prem.div and of course this includes cup matches
as well.
