i have a 7850k amd cpu running a GTX 960 ssc 4gb. but in some cases i do notice bottlenecking. like no matter how bad my settings go to it still lags high or low. i know there must be someway to make it stop i just need help with it. should i try to overclock the cpu?? or get 7870k? or higher. my mother board is GA-F2A68HM-H

There is no other FM2+ cpu that you could get that would be a worthwhile upgrade, and your motherboard is not good enough to get a decent overclock on.

Your A10 should be strong enough for a 960 though. I wouldn't expect a significant bottleneck there.

i did overclock it from 3.7 to 4.0 and the bottleneck did stop its very noticeable like when i look around i get a stable 144 fps on my monitor on 4.0 but on 3.7 i notice it dips down in some parts of a map to 128.

I built a pc for my friend.. I used the 860k and 1050ti...some games ran great, and others struggled... Bottlenecked... Whatever you wanna call it. It's just those fm2 cpus, they are kinda weak. Better off with fx 6/8 core or even i3 6100 upgradable to 6600k or so... After playing around with my buds fm2 build I wouldn't want to build another
