FM2+ vs AM3+ Mobo's

Hi Guys,

So im thinking of getting a am3+ mobo w/ the fx6300 but i was doing some searching and read that the am3+ socket is gonna be discontinued, and that they are gonna focus on their apu's on the fm2+ mobo's? also are there gonna come 6/8 core cpu's on the fm2+ socket?

I don't believe it, first they said in 2012, then they said by the end of 2013 and look at AMD now. Their flagship CPU's are still on the AM3+ socket. I think the Fm2+ will remain reserved for APU's and their FX series will continue on the Am3+. The FX6300 and the 970 series mobo will serve you well.
