Fn + F9 not working, so cant disable the touchpad on asus laptop running win 10 pro x64

Actually this is a prob in my bro's lappy. He was using windows 10 for quite a while now, he could use this key combination before but suddenly its not working. I tried to update the drivers for the touchpad, but they r already up to date. I also tried repairing them but to no use. So i thought that may b F9 key is not working but when i checked its working perfectly fine. plz tell me how to deal with this prob......... Thanx in advanced.........

Hi,

Please do check for any ATK keyboard driver update for that laptop and install it. Have you also tried using the onscreen keyboard? Lastly, just try disabling it from Device Manager that may do the trick.

The Fn-key support is not a driver, it's a utility / program, available from the manufacturer.

Try an external keyboard, if it works there then may be the laptops keyboard
