[SOLVED] FN key putting laptop to sleep, and brightness key turns off the screen ?

On my dell latitude e5470 pressing fn+f12 or f11 will turn the screen black. I have to force shut down the laptop then boot it back up it shows another black screen, shut it down again and then it works. The Fn key puts the laptop to sleep.

Are you playing any games or using any apps that are or could be re-configuring Function keys?

Start working with the function keys one by one to determine what each one is actually doing and what toggles are occurring.

I have updated the driver for the keyboard now it doesn't happen
