I just did this nostalgic little quest
with the Moongaate in Havish. I must
say, this is a nice little trinket.
Perfect for the stealthy characters
I usually play (assassins or charmers,
not thieves). And you don't have
to belong to any guilds to find this
pretty gem.

I see someone else remembers the
old Ultima series fondly.

Oh yes... First time I played Havish was with a Khajiit Nightblade. I
found this weapon relatively early by accident, just went exploring the
island and then stumbled over that book which hints to the portal. I got
Foebane at around level 10 or so. Didn't need to levelup anymore
afterwards, this weapon is so incredibly powerful if used right. Fitting
for a Nightblade.
I wanted to claim ownership over Wolverine Tower in the ass of
Solstheim, but didn't dare the trip through that area at level 10. With
Foebane, it was a lazy walk.

There is another nice weapon to obtain in Havish during a late Thieves
Guild quest. Very cool, but in my opinion not as cool as Foebane.
