Question Folder a virus or just corrupted? (Security ID Structure Invalid)

Hello.

Any help appreciated. TreeFIle Scan showed this error/folder.

Can't delete... Have tried changing the ownership and that seemingly locked it down further. I did have a game installed on this PC called The WItcher 2 but deleted it awhile ago. Folder may have been here all along but I just noticed...

Is this folder just corrupted or a virus? The folder is 0bytes, completely empty.

PS- Tried downloading and re-deleting the witcher game and the folder in question remained unchanged throughout...

Run chkdsk from elevated command prompt

chkdsk d: /f​

Thanks. I ran it and have attached the resulting pic. Unfortunately the folder still remains and I cannot delete it.

Run from elevated command prompt:

takeown /f "D:\WpSystem\The Witcher 2" /r​

icacls "D:\WpSystem\The Witcher 2" /reset /t​

​

After this you should be able to delete the folder.
