Hi.
I use windows 7 explorer. The problem is:
1. My photos folder includes many folders - each folder has the corresponding photos taken at that date. When I try to sort the date of the folders in explorer (Date, Date modified or date created), it gives me a date that is much newer than the original date the photos were taken (I could see the original date if looking on the files "Date" column inside the folder itself). How do I make explorer display the folders with the date of photos taken inside it (all have the same date taken)?

2. The same thing happens with other content (music files, pdf files,...).

I need this feature so I can backup my photos on cd's by order of photos taken.
Is there a tool like Total commander or a plugin of some other file browser that can display the date of a folder as the date of its recent created file ?

There are plenty of folder properties editors or attributes changers available to manually edit the dates. And 3rd party file managers that let you copy folders without changing the dates (using Windows Explorer will make all of the copied folders have today's date).

Many camera brands automatically name the folders with the date so sorting by name as 13thmonkey suggests would make them easy to find, but I guess yours doesn't.

It doesn't work well. I am using right to left language. I wrote the date as yyyy-mm-dd and after that the title in my language. above it I see a folder that starts with 2010. bellow it I see a folder starting with 2016. I am afraid It doesn't work. I need a different solution.

It doesn't work.right to left language always reside right of numbers, however I tried.
