Hello....

I just installed some new software called Vegas Movie Studio 15. After I edit a movie and try to burn it to a Blu-ray, I get this error message:

Filename:
Status: MUXComp:Validating error. --- Cannot load the schema for the namespace 'http://tempuri.org/ProjectDefinition.xsd' - Access to the path 'C:\Users\Test\AppData\Local\Movie' is denied..

I am running Windows 10, 64 bit, and I have all the latest updates installed. I went to the forum for Movie Studio 15 but no suggestions helped.

Could this be a permission issue? And if so, how do I fix it? I did find the folder called "Movie" where it is suppose to be.

I start the software as admin if that makes any difference.

I am pulling my hair out!

Any advise appreciated,

thanks

Did you try this?

Go to http://forum-archive.magix.info and do a Search. Words tempuri, All Forums, Any Date.

You may find something. I'm still trying to learn to link without getting server errors.

https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/when-trying-to-create-a-blu-ray-i-get-errors--103108/

its a similar error, not exact

It could be permissions since its in the users folder, anyway to make it create a folder that is not in users? I suspect the System user controls the Users folder and taking control of it would be a bad idea if you want Windows to keep working.

Hello Colif.....

Yes, as part of troubleshooting with the MS 15 forum, I was directed and tried the above and much more. It all failed and no one could fix this issue. It was suggested that it was a windows problum, so I posted here.
