Folder Options

Hey guys how do I set everything into a list view? I know in folder options you can set all folders of a certain type to have the same organization as the window you have selected.

You know you can say what you want about XP being old, but I certainly hate the user friendliness of Windows 7. Also, how can I set it to "Date Modified" is always a sort option?

I think the ability to have all "Picture" folders display thumbnails and all "Data" folders display details is a useful feature, but if you don't like it, just change the view options (and apply them to all folders of that type) whenever a folder displays the wrong way. It won't take long to catch them all (I'm not sure how many folder types there are, but it can't be that many).

Alternatively, change all of your folders to be optimized for "General Items" (change each top-lvel folder on your drive and ask for the change to apply to all subfolders).
