Question foolish issue with a internal blu ray drive going into a nzxt h510 elite?

i recently purchased a hitachi-LG BU40N Internal drive for my recently new PC, realizing my foolishness i now know most cases wont have a slot for drives such as this. so will i have to buy an external drive and will that work with what i have? or is there a crafty way i can use the one i currently brought? the main use of the drive will be ripping my blu ray's onto my hard drive. sorry for my lack of knowledge, thanks to anyone who reply's.

You need a similar product but one that will mount a slim drive.

Revise the search criteria as necessary as you consider options and ideas.

Read specs carefully and preview all User Manuals and manufacturer related Forums and FAQs.

I recommend an independently powered external case.

thanks for your reply, I've done some research and found a usb to sata cable which i think will connect my blu ray drive, here's a link for what I've found

i think i can use this cable without getting a enclosure case for the blu ray drive, as id be okay with having it loose underneath my pc
