I am currently using 1360 x 768 (60 fps) monitor and I don't plan to upgrade it to 1080p.
I want to play all games like Battlefield 1 , witcher 3 etc... at ultra setting (60fps) .
(i know playing at 760p sucks but in a year or two, I plan to sell everything including the graphics card and upgrade to 4k)
Do i need to buy gtx 1050 or is gt 1030 enough for this resolution..?

Monitor : 1360 x 768 LG
PSU : 450 W
CPU : i3 3220
Ram : 8 gb ddr3 1333 mhz

If you can get the gtx 1050 ti, then go for it but you will be good with gtx 1050 2gb, and even if you cannot buy that then a used gtx 750 ti will do the work for you, but still my recommendation is 1050 2gb

With these gpu, an i5 3570k or i5 2500k would be enough

Might aswell get the 3770, its still a really good cpu even when using much better graphics cards than these. I would have no problem running a 1080 with a 3770.

I'd say 3770, the 3470 isn't enough of a jump over your current cpu and the latest games are benefit from more than 4 cores.
