I am looking at upgrading my memory. With the Ryzen 5 3600 and the Aorus, is there any information on the differences in general performances concerning say 32 GB of 2600 MHz, vs 16 GB of a faster speed? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

if you're using more memory, then the larger amount is ideal. if you're not using more than the 16 gb, then the faster ram would have more benefit.

that's what it really boils down to. do you need 32 gb? or is 16gb good enough?

i have 32 gb but i run a lot of vm's and other memory intensive stuff. if not for that i would have stuck with 16gb.

You can buy 32GB of 3200Mhz CL14 but it is expensive
