I'm an editor/animator; I have a Hackintosh, which I mainly use for Adobe CC (After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop) ... which card is better? No gaming.

Or for that matter, what's the best card I can get for <$250?

Thanks!

A workstation card, like a Quadro, would give you the best image. Just be aware that this becomes a moot point if you're using a low end or even gaming grade monitor. Not only that, but you'll want to have your monitor properly calibrated.

To use an audio analogy, even if you have the best audio equipment, your sound output will still be mediocre if your speakers aren't good.
