what should i buy...i7 7700 or 7700k...plz response...i don't understand how much better a k version than a non k ....

Solution
Most people thinking goes like "If you can spend 320$ for 7700, you can surely spend 30$ more to get 7700k, which IS better". And really hard to not agree with it. I mean, considering total cost of such machine is 1000$+, 30$ is not going to make any difference, right?

the k version will need a mainboard that allows you to overclock, something like a z270

also will need a heatsink to accompany that cpu when overclocked, iirc it comes in the box without a heatsink or fan

if you don't plan on overclocking, get the non k version and a simpler and less expensive mainboard

Correct in that the K versions do not come with a heat sink or fan just a CPU. The difference between a K and a non K is mostly in overclock-ability. Only like a one perhaps two hundred MHz difference in speeds. That also changes the motherboard chipset choice depending on K or no K.

but i saw some video......they said i7700 is 320$......its better to use 30$ extra and should get 7700k. it seems like they r ignoring 7700 cpu. also add (7700 is 3.6 to 4.2 but 7700k is 4.2 to 4.5. even if i don't overclock it....its worth than 7700).. why say like that....im confused at this point....what should i get?
