For Corsair 500R Users: PSU Screws and Cable Management

I'm planning to get a Corsair Carbide 500R case, but I'm reading that a lot of people are having trouble screwing their PSU in correctly, or that the cables coming from the PSU are too short for the motherboard. The problem also extends to Corsair PSUs such as the CX 600W which I was planning to get.
Can any of you guys recommend a PSU that fits into the case properly and has the length to traverse the full length of the case? Anything 500W or greater would suffice.
