For Dual monitors, what cables would be needed for a GTX 960 card?

So I recently started a new build and my previous had 2 dvi cables and 2 ports on the card. The EVGA GTX 960 card I upgraded to has only one, and apart from getting a splitter adapter, I wonder if I'd need to get 2 HDMI cables, or some other config. Both of my monitors have HDMI, but I was using DVI I think (certainy not VGA). In any case, I just don't know what makes sense and wondering what would be the most effective way.

Thanks in advance.

It really doesn't matter as long as you're using the digital ports (DVI, HDMI). If both of your monitors need HDMI just plug one into the HDMI port on the GPU, and plug the other into the DVI on the GPU using a converter.
