For Gaming Gpu

hello guys....
i have a MOBO:
MSI pcmate b85-g41 with a intel i5-4670k
my sapphire radeon 7850 oc 2gb last 5years and died now,
im planning to buy and replace my card with
MSI gaming X gtx 1050 ti 4gb twin frooz
or
asus strix 1050 ti 4gb
would it be compatible to may current rig?
and which is better?

There's a ZOTAC GTX 1060 3GB at Newegg for regular price of $199 right now. It probably won't last long.

Both of those GTX 1050 Ti cards would be compatible and both would perform very much the same. The ASUS has slightly higher stock clocks, but the MSI could easily overclock to achieve that. I know the RX 470, the MSI GAMING X was a much better quality card than the ASUS Strix; though I'm not sure if the same applies to the GTX 1050 Ti as they both look fairly equal.

What is your budget? If possible, you should try to get a GTX 1060. The GTX 1050 Ti would be a performance increase over your older Radeon 7850, but the performance gap between the GTX 1060 and 1050 Ti is rather large, and if you don't upgrade often you will want something that will last.

It is unfortunately you need a new GPU now, as there is a current GPU shortage pushing prices up. Before the shortage, however, a GTX 1060 wasn't much more than a GTX 1050 Ti.

1050ti as i think will be good to me coz im not a hardcore gamer although i playde much dota 2 and other games like Assassins creed series, COD , BF series etc.
im just stuck with asus strix and msi gaming x which is better and worth to buy...
