I am trying to decide on my new computer and I have a short question.

Would you rather have the

ATI all-in-wonder 32mb DDr Radeon W/DVI out for $231

or a

PINNACLE STUDIO PCTV PRO with MJPEG recording and a ATI RADEON VE 32MB AGP DDR DUAL DISPLAY VGA/DVI/TV Card for a combined $172.2

This system will be used mostly for TV, DVD's, word processing and web surfing.. mild gaming and cad app's. Probably little to no video editing. It will probably be pushing a princeton graphics 17.4" LCD.

THanks in advance,

I don't think I'd pay that much for the All in Wonder....

How much is the Pinnacle tv tuner? Hauppage also makes the popular WinTV series of tuners which are very inexpensive. I used one while I was in college and it never gave my old system problems.

Madman, The Pinnacle/Raedon combo is probably the best all around solution. You might also look at the ASUS V7700. I don't know how much it costs, but you can't beat an NVidia
based card !!
