For how many HOURS the RAM is used

Hi Folks,
Buying RAM for laptop upgrade from third party sellers , is there a way to find out if they are selling used or brand new RAM sticks.Is there any software to know for how many hours the RAM is used.

It doesn't really matter if the RAM has been used or not because RAM never slows down, it will remain the same speed for its entire life span. There is no way to check if the RAM is new unless you check the serial number and send it to whichever company it was made from, this will take effort and it might not work, I wouldn't be worried if you think it will be 'slower' or have a doubt like that. If the RAM is faulty then refund it but honestly, I would buy RAM from a trusted second hand seller, buy it used from Amazon.com since you can return it if it isn't what it is specified to be in the description of it.
