FOR LAPTOP : GTX 1050 (2Gb) vs Rx 560x (4Gb)

The 1050 and 560x should be roughly equal, so I'd go for the 560x, merely due to the fact that it has more dedicated VRAM.

However, the GPU is not the only factor deciding gaming performance, so do check other specs before deciding.

That 1050 has 4GB of VRAM, and is being compared to the 560, not the 560X. This whole benchmarking thing is quite (edit: ) confusing tbh. Having links to the actual products OP is comparing would be quite helpful.

Extra vram doesnt give you more performance, unless your running out. Both of these gpus dont really have the power for 4gb to make any difference.

1050 performs better +15%, but may draw more power, which means (importantly) that is has more heat to get rid of, 75W vs 65W

If you are doing any gaming on the laptop it is quite easy to run out of 2GB of VRAM now with higher quality textures.

And using those textures will require more GPU grunt than may be available, this is Robcrezz's point.

Ultimately, the laptop's other specs are quite relevant for this choice. If OP could give us more precise specs for the laptops they're looking at, it would help us make a better choice.

Performance will be about the same between the two. I would then go with the one that has lower power draw. If that is equal the go for more VRAM.
