Having RMA'd a few items myself, I always end up doing the same thing.
Newegg should have sent you an email, if they didn't, see if you can locate the RMA on their site...

I print out two copies of the RMA email
then I enclose 1 copy in the box with the item (RAM in your case).
with the second, I cut out the shipping address and tape it to the top of the box, in the center usually, and discard the scraps
I then stamp/write my address on the top left of the box
I take it to the shipping company, in my case UPS, which will then weigh the package and give an estimate on how much it will take to ship.
I pay them, they print out a label with all the proper addresses and then off it goes.

More or less as Peffse says. It is rather straight forward.
Don't forget to clearly write the RMA on the address label. You can write your return address, but it is really not necessary since Newegg has all that information with the RMA number.

One advice though: Mail the package so it is one way or the other traceble - if using USPS then add delivery confirmation (costs 50 cents).

When filing the RMA, write some clear notes. Be persistent and insist you get a full refund or replacement WITHOUT paying 15% restocking fee. They tend to process and take the restocking fee per automatic, and if they do you should write them an email or call, and in capital letters let them know that is unacceptable since this is not a "I regret my purchase" case....

well i've got the RMA number before this post.. lol i just put some stuff about ruling the ram is a failure since i;ve replaced all other components.. or most of em.. but anyway,,, i copy and pasted that address they give u in the email.. i enlarged it.. and under the address i (in big font) put ATTN RMA # 00000000
in that .. should i also write the number as well somewhere.. but i guess i prolly wont put a return address.. but not sure which would be a better idea..
so after i secure everything..

do i take it to the post office ryte?.. and go thru w/e process i need to from there?..
thanks

Put on a return address. Also, don't forget to get some kind of tracking/delivery confirmation number, so if the vendor claims they never got it, you can prove it did arrive.
