Just posted my system without the vid card in it. The motherboard turned on with a red light, fans working. I noticed the power led blinked pretty quick, then a single blip before going off.

Than it should complain loudly. Check MB manual for POST beep codes.

Also check to see if your motherboard or case even have a speaker. More and more models ship without speakers. If thats the case beep codes won't get you very far.

Yeah I don't think it does. I looked in the manual and nothing is showing up about post beeps or anything.
