For rendering purpose

hi friend i m new to this forum... i want to buy a graphic card for 3ds max rendering purpose... can anyone plz help me out to buy the best...

Hello and welcome to the forums
3DMAX is mostly a CPU limited application therefor it benefits more from a faster CPU rather than a faster VGA.
What are your system specs ?

Of course other 3d modeling apps may be more GPU limited, but anyway.. How much money you got? Workstation GPUs are very expensive since the drivers are optimized for professional modeling applications and have excellent support. Their desktop counterparts are much cheaper, though not as fast in professional apps, at least not without softmodding them anyway .
