Nothing new, just some 'Not Exactly New' hardware. Here are the system specs:
-PIII 450 MHz
-64MB SDRAM
-13" monitor 800x600 max resolution
-1 Firewire, 2 USB ports, DV, Audio, and Microphone input/ouputs, serial, parallel, VGA ports, RJ-11/56k modem and external mouse/keyboard support.
-Original Restore Disks
It's been handed down one time from my boss back in December 2001. From personal experience its well equipped to:
Word Process
Play 2D games: WarCraft 2, StarCraft, Monopoly, etc...
Run as a HTTP(web) server
Play VCD/DivX movies as well as display on TV or Projector
DV Editing w/ firewire (although very tedious processing)
It's also Linux compatible, hence the web server function, although I've used IIS 5.0/Apache32 for it too. All these functions and more I've done with this laptop. If you want pictures of the Vaio in action just e-mail me.
I'm also throwing in a PCMCIA Netgear FA411 Ethernet 10/100 Card for people who want to network or go broadband. Original CD Software support included also. I'm also giving Microsoft Office 2000 Professional 2CD with this too.
I'm pricing it at $500 USD or trade for part(s) to equal value.
