I have this posted on Ebay as well but it's surprisingly not getting much attention. This is a great CPU which I originally purchased just to have something to get my BIOS updated and my system running while I was waiting on my R7 3700X. The following is the complete description and some details which I am copying directly from my Ebay listing.

Asking $125 for this great sample of R5 1600AF processor.

This processor was installed in my system for about a week. It's the newer, Gen 2 (I think) AF version of the Ryzen 5 1600, which I understand to be a 'repackaged' R5 2600. The CPU was tested in my system and although I'm definitely not an expert in this area, I do know a little, and this appears to me to be a pretty good chip (silicon lottery and all that). I was able to get a 4GHz stable overclock, which I only did to see what the capability was and then returned the CPU to stock speed. I did not attempt to go higher and didn't do any further tweaking, so it's quite possible there's still room for more performance to be got from this processor. Even then, 4GHz ain't bad for this CPU in my opinion, though I didn't do any extended or in-depth stress testing or benchmarking at 4GHz (or at any speed). As I said, I only kept the OC settings briefly, long enough to confirm what I considered to be stable, than returned everything to default base clocks and voltages. Bottom line, this chip was installed and tested as described above and only kept in my system for a short time, during which it was babied and not pushed or stressed beyond what I've described here. I only got this chip in the first place because I needed a Ryzen Gen 2 to get my BIOS properly updated on the MOBO I have and so I'd have something to get my system up and running while waiting for my current R7 3700X.

This is a good (probably exceptional, IMHO) CPU and comes with the Wraith air cooler and everything else in the original packaging. The only thing you'll need is a little thermal paste, as the orignal preplaced thermal compound on the cooler was cleaned off after I removed the CPU and cooler from my system.

Note to interested buyers: I understand that buying "used" components like CPUs on Ebay can be a sketchy business and should be approached with caution. With that said, I will guarantee that everything I've stated here is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge and technical ability, which I believe to be sufficient to make these statements. You can buy here with confidence - if you purchase this CPU and discover that it's DOA (god forbid), doesn't meet AMD's published technical specs, or is found to be defective in any way, I will accept a return and issue you a full refund. With that said, I will NOT guarantee the "overclockability" of this part, since that relies on many other factors that are out of my control, such as type of motherboard, CPU cooling method, your system's specific hardware configuration, or the technical abilities of the end user.
