Question For the love of god.. i cannot get memtest 86 to boot

So i have a empty thumdrive... i install memtest 86 using the promts.. it seems to make two partitions on this drive though ? I see the junk it installs in one, reboot.. go to bios i see the two partitions and the usb drive.. i have selected each 1 to boot as option 1.. and the thing will not load memtest 86.... first option just says there is nothing to boot from, the 2nd and 3rd option just sit there on a black screen.

This is frustrating, is there another way to test memory for errors other than this 1 program ??
