For what packages is a Quadro RTX 4000 essential/best as opposed to 11GB EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti??

Been getting a fair bit of both

Adobe Premier (including effects like Greenscreen. Looking for a studio kit soon after workstation build subject to cost) 4k video
Adobe Encoder for Transcoding
Adobe After Effects
Solidworks (Plus rendering on Keyshot)
Rhino (Plus rendering on V-Ray and use of Rhino Plugins and Addons)
Vectorworks
Looking to Learn Sketch UX/UI and Wireframing
Podcasting with Adobe Audition (Interested in a XLR podcast /Audio narrate set up. Most likely soon after depending on workstation cost)
Looking to Learn Google Sketchup
Lookign to Learn Cinema 4D (Plus associated Rendering packages such as Renderman, V Ray and Blender)
Looking to Learn 3D Studio max (Plus associated Rendering packages such as Renderman, V Ray and Blender)

"essential" it's not. For pro work a Quadro is the standard card to get due to drivers being made more specifically to run with the programs you are using as well as for accuracy vs speed. But it's not really needed, you can use either one. If you will actually be working on those programs with clients not just for play or learning, then I would get a Quadro card since some jobs would have a "certified system" as part of the requirements so you would need parts certified for use with the programs.
 
From what Ive seen it sounds right that the Geforce will do most software well... bar from what Ive read SOLIDWORKS.


Lots of responsese on the Solidworks sites all say you need a Quadro or it won't work right, visualise wont work, real view wont work, it all goes wonky, wont work when you want it to etc.

But dont seem to get this with any other software. What do you guyes know abbout Solidworks or other software. Does any other softrware insist on certified cards or just solidworks and how much is it really needed
