"that will eventually change as consumers grow tired of the same updated product year after year"
Spot on,..

Apple must either innovate on the next i-device or admit that that their no different than the companies they've tried to sue.

[citation][nom]ubercake[/nom]Well you know the iWatch won't be using the soon to be industry standard OLED technology in the display since Cook thinks it's stupid.[/citation]

LOL, we all know he is an idiot

A prototype should be "accidentally" left in a bar anytime now....NICE ONE!

Why is it Apple's responsibility to create the next new product? Why can't Samsung or Microsoft or Sony come up with the next big thing (tm)? I'd LOVE to see the Google goggles become a reality as long as they can look like a normal pair of glasses so I don't look like a complete tool walking around with them on. A watch device that works would be a welcome device. Way fewer people would be asking for everyone's number AGAIN on facebook because they can't drop their watch into the toilet.

Apple isn't exactly coming up with anything new here.... smart watches have been done... Sony beat Apple to this... Sony has the LiveView line of smart watches that sync with Android phones. There's also the SVP G13 smart watch and an Android 2.2 based smartphone watch....as well as the Victor Q8 and various other Android based smartwatch/watchphone models.... Apple is actually pretty late to this particular market.

Read the title, have no idea what they're talking about.
Tried reading the article, wall of text critted me for over 9000.

Awesome attention span. If you care enough to expect others to explain it, you care enough to just read it.

[citation][nom]amdwilliam1985[/nom]I think they've leaked iWatch so they can patent it to sue Samsung in time @Apple, we never stop suing you.[/citation]

May be some truth to that. Samsung took many ideas from Apple and now Samsung is trying to beat Apple to market with new devices like the Smart Watch. So Apple leaks that they are creating an iWatch because they know Samsung will do its best to release a smart watch before Apple. Then make it look like Samsung took Apples ideas once again, which is true. 😉

old news.

i heard they're already working on the iWatch 2. apparently, it will mostly be the same thing but with 16% wider straps.

it will be 28% more expensive than this.

What about the tons of other smartwatches already on sale? And please do tell me which device Apple currently has that didn't took ideas from other manufacturers?
