I have the Cooler Master D92 and had some issues where the screws didnt seem to touch the Holes it was supposed to be screwed into. They were off about a millimeter or so and i had to apply quite a bit of force for it to go into the hole and eventually after a lot of struggling got it in. Its for the AMD bracket is this normal? I was sincerely scared about the amount of force that was needed.

If the assembly did not go smooth as butter, you either did something wrong, or the parts were defective. There should have been no problem aligning bolts to holes. Nor any struggle to get them to screw in. I suggest you re-do the installation checking that all is according to the instructions... or that you return the cooler for another. The CPU to socket pressure need not be as precise as with Intel because Intel uses contacts rather than pins, but still needs to be within specs.
