Hi,

I can't find P5V-VM Ultra VIA drivers for windows 7 anywhere in the internet.
Not in the Asus website neither VIA's.

Is there a "tweak" i could do make the XP driver to work on Windows 7?
Thanks!

The default MS drivers that are loaded are about as good as they get with older boards. I have an old Athlon X2 system running on all MS drivers, works fine.

You can try, but I would not recommend doing so for the motherboard, running Windows in "Build" mode, this lets you install unsigned drivers. Really though 32bit XP drivers aren't written for 64bit OS, so if you are going to make the attempt, download the WinXP 64bit drivers. (Unless you are running Windows 7 32bit)

Thanks everyone.
It is actually a school lab with 10 mobos like that.

VIA: the wrong choice. Always cheap hardware lacking driver support.
I thought of buying off board VGA but would also have to acquire new wi-fi + new sound card! Wouldn't worth it.
