Question Forced update last night?

Had an update last night at shutdown. Today, can't get into my pc because I have to log in to an old e-mail I no longer use? I find a way around that by canceling it needing to come back it later. I start gaming on steam and get a crash almost right away and it is asking me to send info to epic games on the error log? What is going on?

Does this happen when you are just using the computer to read email oor while surfing, or is it just when gaming and/or a specific game?

Just happened today when I started gaming. Just started a new session and was able to game for a while without issue.

Should I be getting a new notification from windows that I need to provide my old e-mail address and login information in order to login and verify something to continue with windows right now? Is that a thing with a new update last night?
