My BIOS flash chip's data is corrupted so it no longer does POST. When switched on it would spin fans for couple of seconds and stops.
However one time it loaded in to Award Bootblock BIOS v1.0 . Here I can reflash the corrupted BIOS with the correct BIOS files. But my PC no longer boots to this BootBlock BIOS. (last time was random).
Is there a way to force the system to boot into bootblock bios? I have a Foxconn Mars motherboard which uses a MX Serial Flash BIOS chip. (since it's serial, I can't probably short high address pins to fake corrupted bios I guess)
How can I force BootBlock to load? Any ideas will be highly appreciated. Thank you.
