Forgot bios password

You can clear the BIOS password by resetting the CMOS (either by the CMOS jumper (location varies by MOBO but is listed in your manual) on the MOBO or unplugging the Power - removing the CMOS battery and pressing the on\off button to drain any standby power stored on the MOBO and then reinserting the CMOS battery and plugging it back in --- doing this will reset all of the options to default (default = no password set) so that you can then set a new password if you want -- (NOTE : this will reset the password so if doing this on someone else's system they will know you have messed with it !)
