forgot password for wireless router

I forgot my password, so I need to either retrieve the old password or enter a new password. I have a LinksysE1000 router
Can I just reset the router and utilize the disk to redo the installation?

U can always see a reset button on the router just press it the passrod will set to default

Yes you can just do a factory reset. The default username/password is in the user manual. You should always change the password.

You don't NEED to use the CD, but the setup wizard they give you is helpful.
