forgot password to asus laptop

My daughter has forgotten her password for her Asus windows 7 laptop, i have the receipt for proof of purchase, but not sure what to do or who to contact. The laptop has no disk drive as it is only about 18 months old can anyone help or point me in the right direction thanks in advance.

I don't want help to get in, i want pointed in the right direction of who to contact. No need to be rude about it. Just as i am reading welcome i get your rude reply. i did not know who to contact microsoft or Asus! I have the box receipt and id for the laptop for when i speak to the right person but finding contact info for these companies seems very difficult

Take it and receipt into one of your local repair shops. They should get you pointed in the right place. And be sure to yell at your daughter for forgetting that password she uses every day to log in.
